Maria developed a deep interest in anatomy and exercise physiology early in her career, and brings 25+ years of experience teaching and coaching to Kinesphere Therapy.
A broad range of clinical experiences has led Maria to complete post-graduate training in manual therapy, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, meditation and clinical Pilates.
Maria’s integrated approach to therapy focuses on using movement-based principles to empower her patients to move freely and confidently towards their rehab goals.
Outside of work, you’ll find Maria enjoying the ocean and mountains, or preparing a delicious meal for family and friends.

A lifelong dancer and mover, Sydney brings a deep understanding of the body in motion to her practice, and believes this is critical to healing. Her integrated approach focuses on patient-led education alongside a blend of manual therapy techniques, dry needling, and individualized therapeutic exercise—empowering her patients to become active participants in their own recovery.
Sydney completed both her Bachelor of Science (Honours) and Master of Physical Therapy degrees at UBC, and holds additional certifications in dry needling, pelvic floor physiotherapy, manual therapy, clinical Pilates, and visceral mobilization. She brings experience working with chronic pain and gender-affirming care, and is committed to providing safe, trauma-informed care to all bodies.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find Sydney unwinding in a hot yoga class, playing with her cats, reading a good book, or exploring with her partner—especially if there are hot springs involved!

Kobi brings over 20 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, clinical Pilates instructor, and clinical educator to Kinesphere Therapy.
Kobi focuses on educating her patients about their injuries, giving them the tools they need to self-manage, thereby empowering them to move comfortably and confidently beyond the confines of the clinic.
Kobi’s focus on movement as treatment gives her a unique perspective to support patients with chronic and complex issues, and she has extensive experience working with patients on the hypermobility spectrum.
Beyond physiotherapy and clinical Pilates, Kobi has undertaken training in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, Bowen therapy, the Connect Therapy™ model, dry needling, trauma-informed therapy, and holistic nutrition.
Outside work, you’ll find Kobi hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing, gardening, reading, and admiring all the pets.
